i just got my new bow setup @ a respected archery pro shop. they told me that the pse xforce is to risky to put in a bow vice. due to the radical limb design. so they recommend no peep sight on the string.. i have only owned one other bow and i am soo used to aiming with a peep. has any1 heard of this issue or have any recomendations...
Brandon (nccrittergitter) shoots one of these bows with a peep. I'm pretty sure Wilbur (iamyourhuckleberry) does, also. My guess is they either: 1. Don't know HOW to press your bow or 2. Don't feel comfortable, doing so.
Thats crap , i had one and i had a peep with no issue about bow vice . I'd second what Jeff says , they don't want to try for them reasons .
Yeah. they are a mathews only dealer . i appreciate there honesty, instead of just doing something to make a buck. they were very helpful otherwise. the bow shoots great(minus a peep). they just had me worried. they also told me "id never have this bow pressed, its the most dangerous bow on the market." any thoughts...
My best friend has a 2009 Xforce. His has a peep and has been pressed several times. Me thinks they are trying to sell you a Mathews.
I have a brand new pse vendetta and I had no problem installing a peep. In the manual it does tell you to back each limb bolt off 4 complete turns. the manual also shows how to press the bow not a big deal.
I have a 09 gx and have pressed it many times. While not recomended, I use a bowmaster portable press at home. Very scary the first time but it works OK. Wellsy
thank guys. i took my x force ts to a shop that works on them. peep install and adjusted in 10min. love it:D
