How do you determine the correct height for your peep when using a movable pin sight?

What ever makes you comfortable. Make sure you're not having to move your head when looking through the peep.

When at full draw and looking through ur peep you should be able to see through ur peep and forward to ur sight. A circle inside a circle without moving your head but only finding a comfortable anchor point where u feel good at full draw. You may need some assistance its much easier when u have a helper and ur at full draw that can adjust it up and down accordingly. Hope you get it lined up

Come to full draw and anchor with you eyes closed. Open them and without moving your head have someone mark on the string level with your eye. Usually a pretty good starting point.

Even with a movable pin should keep the same anchor every time even though the sight housing and peep are not lined up?

I like to set my peep height for a mid range yardage on my sight. Usually around 40 yards. That way it works run all the way up high and as low as it goes.

Never move your peep under pressure. That is a very good way to damage your strings. Either use a press (preferred) or a string separator (less preferred) if you don't have a press.

Max is spot on about figuring peep height.

How do you figure this out when sighting in to find a tape? Do you move it a little higher or lower than what is perfect?
