I am new to this forum and have a question regarding the peak weight on a bow.
In August, I purchased a Bowtech Destroyer 340 with a peak weight of 60#. Due to a recurring shoulder injury, I have had to reduce the weight to 55#. Will this result in any inefficiency to this bow.
    Thanks for your input.

55 pounds will still kill a deer. I would think that your effective range will shorten up a little, but you would just need to practice and see how comfortable you are with it. Also, with that low of poundage I would stay away from Rages and expandable broadheads

55lbs is plenty to do what ever you please. I have shot moose at 57lbs with expandables before. practice with your set-up and know your limitations. as far as inefficiency in the bow itself, there should not be any noticeable downside. don't worry about it, go shoot, and have a blast!
