This is what we have been dealing with the past 2 days. Non stop crazy fools running around. My area must have gotten a huge shipment in lately. This is our last one from yesterday.

Lol. I don't disagree. Was made a long time ago and they want to hold to tradition.

 

Then again the fire engine I drive is that putrid high vis yellow so I have nothing to mock but being you are a cop and I am a firefighter we have to make sport of each other it's another tradition.

 

Sad thing to have to deal with that and that people would actually do that to themselves.

Exactly why I could never be a cop I would only encourage evolution by sending idiots to an early grave before they can reproduce.

I couldn't be a cop I would have just tased his a$$ and called it a day.

 

Problem is that everyone is carrying around a video camera nowadays, cops can't do their jobs anymore without having 3 different cameras on them.

 

We had one in Roanoke about a month ago doing the same thing.

It's entertaining from waaay over here. That's a big dude but at least you don't have to do a pat down.. lol. BTW, Your cop cars look like taxis.

Seriously tho', I can't imagine how tough it is to be a LEO nowadays. Stay safe and off of the DOJ's radar.

Well the problem is that there are many variations of what people deem to be wrong. An officer may be forced to use deadly force in a given situation because he has a split second to make a decision, then all the hindsight people watch the video and tell them they could have did this or that differently - next thing you know he's on paid leave pending an investigation.

 

I pulled a simple traffic stop on a guy the other night. Two cars pull in behind and people get out. Another car drives up and blacks out....people in the neighborhood start walking down the sidewalk at me talking trash. And we are short officers so back up is like 5 plus minutes away. Phones out, cursing at me. An officers every move needs to be calculated down to even where he makes a traffic stop.

Had a citizen call in hearing gun shots last night (we get those 3 times a night). I get out and walk around a bit and look inside a truck and find a guy murdered.....

 

Ouch that's the worst kind of fire truck lol . I'm lucky enough to ride in a real fire truck.

 

I haven't had to deal with any guys on that before but here lately it's a bunch of heroin OD. My buddy and I both ran one yesterday in different cities about 20 miles apart. Seems like the most recent wave of it has hit the streets and it's stronger than what people are use to.

We had a officer get shot in the face just the other day. Apparently a decent young kid with no criminal history got on drugs. He got out beside a police car at a red light and walked over and shot the officer in the face. Incredibly it went in through his cheek and out the back of his neck and didn't really cause any serious injury. The kid took off and pulled into a church parking lot and shot himself. It's terrible what drugs can do.

 

The people standing around videoing are idiots and need to get a life. Let them do their job.
