The deer I hunt are are pasture and grassland deer, and I have a hard time finding exactly where they are bedding. There is one main crop field, which I have permission to hunt, in the middle of a couple draws. What should I look for when figuring out where they bed? There isn't much for hardwoods, only in the bottoms of the draws.

Anybody want to give me some insight on how to finally figure these deer out?

If it were me, I would spend some time trying to find some decent stand sights along the crop field.... Especially as we start to get into late Oct, I spend more time focusing on travel areas and not as worried about where they are bedding as I would be early season....

I'm going to be down in your neck of the woods in a few weeks, once I fill I could maybe help you scout some stand sites if you are still trying to fill your tag...

Okay, I have been hunting this field for 2 years, so I have stands hung already. I'm mostly just trying to get a better grasp of how the deer will be traveling in the early season. Your more than welcome to come out though lol :tu:
