I agree with you, but I have to ask, who on here said it was hunting?

I don't qualify it the same either. But I don't get why the viciousness towards it. It's not counted in record books, it's not hurting all the people so horrible about it. Hunters should stand against antis, but any time this topic comes up it shows how similar some are with them instead.

Well when you post a picture of a guy holding a 480 inch buck with a bow lying on it's side, it pretty much says the hunter actually hunted the critter.

High fence deer. Not hunting. Growing deer to be shot.

So if the bow that he used to kill the deer was not in the picture you would be ok with it?

But does that ruin your hunting or life or anyone else's if that's how he wanted the picture? Everyone fights on here about all the differences each person can have or does, why can't people just say who cares and enjoy their time? Does everything need to be a vicious competition against eachother? Are there so many with such weak egos that can't handle someone else being happy doing something different? Even if he directly called it hunting will everyone else still live through it?

I'm just having some leftovers from last night for lunch, if it ruins anyone's day I would like to apologize but I'd rather say how pathetic

That steak looks overcooked! How dare you ruin a perfectly good piece of meat. That isn't even eating now, just chewing....

No, I think he's saying that he finds it disturbing that a lot of the hunting community - if not the majority of it - is quick to "dog pile" onto anyone who deviates the least little bit from what they consider to be right, even though nothing "wrong" has actually been done.

This is a FORUM, after all, and he gets to express his opinion too, even if it does differ from that of the "in crowd" on here.

Agreed, it is way overdone for my liking but it was my wife's and she takes them cooked far more than I would do. I always go for seared and bloody inside

I didn't look closely at the deer's face until read this post. It does look old, almost burned.

The gang ups are identical to antis terrorizing hunters or any groups attacking others now days. That's the part I think goes beyond just having a negative opinions. I bet each person that's posted has some circumstance or angle they can use that the others would attack and call not hunting. You can hunt over bait and got an awesome buck last year. I think it would be crappy for me to belittle you and say you're not a hunter because I can't here. I think you hunted it and I'm happy for you for it, but I'm confident there are plenty here that would get just like this thread over it. I don't know why others have to take away someone else's pleasure in it. I'm guessing the OP regrets having posted it now seeing what it became.
