That's not a trophy at all. It'd be harder to kill a decent size doe where im from. It's pretty messed up that they genetically alter these deer by feeding them unnatural food. Look at the face. That thing doesn't look healthy at all.

We all pay to kill deer in some way or form, this man honestly doesnt have to time to get in a lease or hunt in his back yard. He is a hard working Pastor and owns a large business that he runs. He was blessed by a friend of his that payed for his hunt because he is such a awesome man that gives to anyone if you would know Ps joe. So personally i'd never pay to do high fence hunt but if someone bought me a hunt i'd go to. I dont judge people on the deer they kill because in taking any whitetail is a special moment.

SUre he can be proud of it I guess...I never could be. To me I would turn down that hunt because I'm firmly against the whole idea and what I'd be supporting.

Shooting livestock isn't a hunt. I would turn down that "hunt" every day of the week.

Lets not be fooled...this is NOTHING to be proud of.

I can overlook some hunting practices because people need food, I get that, but...this is not hunting.

I have a buddy who runs a deer farm. He raises monster, perfect genetic bucks and sells them to farms like this. It gives him a living, which is fine. But we literally hand feed these bucks. They love animal crackers. All you have to do is whistle and they come running. To call it hunting is a joke.

Not saying anything bad about him at all. We all have our limitations be it time, money or access to land. I personally think that deer ranches like this are despicable, and would much rather spend that money to hunt with an outfitter. Probably every year for 10 years for the money that deer was bought for.

That's basically going out on a farmers ranch and buying a cow to slaughter. I don't understand why you would want to hunt a high fence area. Might as well shoot fish in a barrel. The deer are basically hand fed pets.

Lets not call it hunting though, thats a disgrace to any member of the hunting community that spends more then 15 minutes scouting/hunting.

This is like going to Target, all your doing is paying alot of money for a wall ornament.

Free hunt is a lame excuse. This deer probably cost 25-30k. Thats 5 free ranging elk hunts with Dubbya!

Yea i could never afford a farm/ranch. Only time i go out of state is when i get a invite on a hunting lease. I understand what everyone says about not taking this hunt because it is like going to a zoo i'm sure and picking and choosing. Every deer i ever killed i worked my butt off to kill and Ps Joe has to i'm sure other smaller deer he fair chased means more to him.

No business in a hunting forum in my opinion but only mods can correct that.

You Make a good point there sir when u say we all pay in one way or the other. But u see alot of the fellas here have hunted for years fair chase an have probably never seen a deer that big in real life so its frustrating when folks get on her like, look what I tagged if he even put a tag on it who knows but honestly if someone offered me a chance to hunt a freak like that I wud jump at the chance honestly

I would be more proud of myself if I were able to get those annoying stains out of my toilet bowl
