Well the death of a loved one strikes again! I will not be hunting the rest of the week. My buddies dad passed from cancer and was like my 2nd dad growing up. Will be missed and my heart is hurt. I will be back at it Sunday so I will check back in then.
Well I went out today and saw three and heard one but to dark. I then swapped my trail cam memory cards and all I can say is OH MY! Downloading pics now so stay tuned!

Well got a coating of snow last night and this morning. Went and sat in the redneck blind with the mr heater and only saw 2 does and a small buck. Nothing in shooting range. Sent from a note in a bottle.
Well I leave to got up north to Trempealue co Thursday night will hunt Friday with the bow to try to get my doe tag out of the way. The I got the rifle in hand for the WI 9 day gun season Sent from a note in a bottle.
Heading south for gun season tomorrow so I hope that my big boy stays safe over this weekend and gives me a shot when I get back here.

Well...I'm in the blind this morning on doe patrol. Steady rain but it's forecasted to quit just after daylight.
This is really my last week to get it done. Our season closes next Saturday except fora few areas. I am on vacation, but have to balance with family time as well. Supposed to be warm and rainy tomorrow so that seems like a good day for family time.
Ended up seeing a 2 1/2 year old 7 point at 8:30, nothing after that. He got 5yds from the blind. Pretty intense lol

My cuz hunts a property about a half mile north of me and while shotgun hunting his property he stated that he saw a buck with a droptine head my direction. The only problem is that I can not shotgun hunt my property. I hope he comes in tomorrow morning since I will be in the woods again tomorrow with my bow. I will be flopping my trail cam cards so I hope that I got a picture of him too!
