Alright TEAM, the rut is pretty much in full swing right now!! We have a great cold front coming through, looking forward to hearing some success stories from some you guys who haven't connected yet. I have a feeling someone is going to be laying the smack down on a buck this week! Shoot straight!
Seen 7 deer tonight. Only one which was a small scrub buck. I still have a big ole mom doe with her two fawns, is she not going to get hot this season? I don't get why I am seeing all these does in the fields in the evening feeding and no bucks behind them?!
Feeling rough, feel as if my problems with my illness are creeping back up. going into work for atleast a half day, see how I feel then may hit this woods this afternoon. Dave

That is about all I can do is pray. My season is a bust and does not look like it the future is any better.
Hang in there dmen, it has been rough for me also. Started season 2 and half months late due to illness, feel like I am playing catch up. Having to pace myself due to not having the energy to hunt hard like I did in years past. All we can do is keep trying and hope something good happens. Dave
Well, I saw a small 120 class 8 pointer and let him go. I know there are bigger ones out there so going to wait for a while before I shoot a small one. I don't like to shoot the small ones and would rather use tag on a doe.
Hang in there boyz. Stay at it. Eventually the odds will be in your favor. Dad and I were skunked the last few days. Had deer on cam 10 min both before and after 2 of our sits. This cold front will help everyone.
