pass through or not what do you prefer

    I've had this shot. It was a quartering too shot with a high entrance. There was absolutely no blood to trail, none. I found my buck within 100 yards and heart, and lungs were completely destroyed from the broadhead, but he could have easily ran off far enough that I wouldn't have been able to find him.

    If you need an arrow to stay in a deer to make more mess you did not make a very good shot !

    If I have a choice, I most definitely prefer a pass through. No question about it.

    Yes! I have shot over a dozen deer who never knew I was around and the arrow pass through with them just flinching then turning around to sniff the arrow. One time in a urban deer hunt I shot a small buck this way and he went back to eating. I knotched another arrow and was lining up the pin when he staggered and dropped dead. I was thinking I had missed. Does it help? ? ? Does not hurt for sure.
