How many of you that are working a full time job currently also working
a part time job? Is it the same type of job you do full time or something totally
    different?

Myself I work in I.T. and up until this past fall I was doing a part time
job working on Boilers mostly at schools.

    Edited :d

I've always got something going on the side, always have since I was in high school.

I used to be quite active on Ebay and was at one point selling only high dollar items. I was doing it as a brokerage type service so I didn't have anything out of pocket other than cost of sale. This was well before the "Ebay Store" franchises started to open. In one year, I sold a 2 year old 50hp 4wd tractor, a 93 mint condition Mazda RX-7 with 15k miles on it, a 96 Saab turbo, a restored Eddie Bauer edition Ford Bronco, and a list of probably 10 other vehicles and other high dollar items.

Now I also sell Organic Grass Fed beef for the family business. I'm not as active as I used to be with it, but still move enough to get my own for free and have a few $$$ left over.

One job is annoying enough. No need to add to that.
Now maybe if I found something fun I could get paid for...that's a different story

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume that you WEREN'T sleeping with your aunt:d :busted:

To answer your question... I've always done something on the side. In college it was pretty much buying/selling stuff on Ebay. My best friend has an auto salvage company and we used to sell stereos on ebay for his dad and we made commission. I started mowing lawns and shoveling sidewalks when I was 10 and have always worked since then.

I usually try to do stuff on the side to supplement my bow hunting, fly fishing, and bird hunting.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I need to pick up with something extra for more toy funds. I drove a lot for my dad's mail contract route (still do occasionally). At almost $18/hr, it was the best college job a guy could have. I've done some small web design and graphic design work on the side. I, too, was a seller on ebay. I hit it big in high school. My junior and senior year were my big producers. I sold primarily laptops, and my best sale netted $600 profit. Since then, Ebay has become pretty flooded with electronics, not to mention the fact that Dell basically killed the market by offering laptops for such low prices.

Sometimes I do electrical side jobs. There never seems to be a shortage of these.

I do everything.. side jobs.. part time jobs.. full time work ETC.

Heck.. one of my part time jobs pays me by letting me hunt the owners land. I watch the house all winter.. maintain some things and shovel for them.. in return I get to hunt their property.

Of course.. they always feel bad about all the work I do.. and send me restaurant giftcards up the wazoo. But I really just do it for the hunting part.

    I'm a sad man.:d

The way that reads, would be he was sleeping with his best friend, then they started sleeping with his aunt. Now he is out.
