Does anyone have any experience with paracord? I just ordered 200 feet to make a sling for my shotgun; I know it's a bit much but I figured I would leave enough room for error. But my question is, how much paracord does it take to make an inch of braided paracord? I'm doing the cobra weave but I've read everything from 1 foot makes one inch of braided paracord to 14" makes 1" of braided. Any help?
When I make duck lanyards the long piece is 6' I think and the two colors for the cobra weave are each 15' each. So 30 total for the weave. I end up trimming some off but it's better to have extra than not enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I made a paracord sling for my 22. It took a ton of cordage can't remember how much. Just a heads up its actually pretty uncomfortable and digs into your shoulder pretty good.
