I want to paper tune my bow, I haven't done it ever, I changed my rest. This may be a dumb question, but what kind of paper should you use? News print seems to thin and construction paper may be to thick.

Get a roll of butcher paper if you can. It works very well.

News print is thin but that is not always a problem as it shows the most minor imperfections, and it is pretty inexpensive if you already have some. Works great if you are only doing one or two bows and do not have a whole tuner set-up. It is smaller but magazine pages also work well in a pinch.
