Was looking to hunt this year for Elk in Pagosa. We have a place out there, but looks like I'll be over seas working now during the season... Same thing happened last year so I went @third rifle with my bow, Snow kept them up in the mountains. I went after but had a bull tag only and came across 14 cows bedded @10000ft in the Weiminuche... Thats my luck.... Anyone headed to Pagosa in Late September for Archery? If I can get back in the STates i'm thinking I'll make the trip again.... Anyone have luck out there? Trip planned for next year in Archery season.... no if ands or buts....
