ok now that i ranted about cam newton for a week, I will let it go and open up my favorite team to some rant if needed.
I was raised in house about a mile from lambeau field and currently live about 10 from it. I have been a die hard packer fan my whole life, yes, even the year ray rhodes was the coach.

But right now honestly I cannot think of a team that can honestly outplay them, they are a great package.

    remaining schedule
    denver
    atlanta
    st louis
    minnesota
    bye
    san diego
    minnesota
    tampa bay
    detroit
    NY Giants
    Oakland
    KC
    Chicago
    Detroit

The only team on the schedule making me a little nervous is the lions.
and I am not saying we will be going undefeated or anything, because there are usually a few games we forget to show up for.
    any thoughts

    My thoughts?

We need a pass rush. Our line is IMPOSSIBLE to run on, but we can't get any good constant pressure on the quarterback. In turn, since we score quick and often, teams are being forced to play catch up and pass on us. And thats the reason why New England and us are dead last in pass defense. But since our secondary is made up of playmakers, were also 2nd in the league in Interceptions. Its a give/take...garbage yards dont neccesarily mean anything. If we could add another blitzing backer (Bishop and Hawk are solid, but their not pass rushers), things would greatly improve. Losing Collins was a HUGE blow. Peprah has Super Bowl experience, but got burned a few times last week, and im not 100% comfortable with him in coverage.

    Offensively...

Collins was a huge loss, and Matthews is being so well blocked right now being double and triple teamed that also took away from the pass rush, another thing I havn't seen much of this year is Woodson on the blitz, also taking away from the pass rush.

the loss of collins is not going to help get any extra blitzing going either

Im sorry, the Lions are young and fiesty team that will win some games, but they are nowhere near the Packers level. They MAY squeak out a win at home, but i dont see there defense stopping Arod and company

absolutly it should be an amazing year, assuming teams stay healthy, the Packers are almost always plagued with injuries.
I do think we have the advantage on the Lions in depth though, if injuries start to occur on both teams, I believe the Packers have much more depth, we have so many great receivers, we even have a backup QB that can go in and get the job done. If the lions were to lose stafford for the year I think their season is over.
Hopefully both teams can stay healthy and have a great season. Has it ever happened that 2 NFC north teams started 3 - 0.
