No dog in this fight for me, I just want to see a good game. If I was forced to choose, I'd go with Pittsburg....
GB will have a rough time running against the Steelers. If they get forced to pass all game long, bad things will happen if they get sloppy. If GB is able to rip off some decent runs, GB's chances at winning the SB will skyrocket.
I'm obviously pulling for the Steeler's, and I like their experience coupled with the fact that they rarely mentally put themselves out of the game at any point. With that being said, I just honestly think GB has TOO much on both sides of the ball for them to handle...I really do.
I will be pulling for Green Bay for sure. I think Jordy Nelson is in every newspaper around here, its a pretty big deal :D
These things scare me. Steelers know how to win games. They grind them out. They make plays when they have to. Ben sustains plays instead of getting sacked. He gets that tough first down. But the thing that scares me the most is Pitt getting to Rodgers and hitting him hard. Rodgers is not a great QB after a big hit. It affects him more than the average QB. If GB can protect AR...... Whoa Nelly!!!!! Pitt's secondary is suspect. Should be a great game.
Does that cause players from other teams to question his toughness and also tweet negative things about him?
Tough one to call. I have no dog in this fight either. If I had to choose I'd give the slight edge to Pitt. I think they will have a little more success running the ball. It's going to be a drop back and fire for Rodgers. He'll put up good numbers, but I also think too much on his shoulders against that defense. He'll throw in a couple key interceptions and crucial times. Only thing that stands out with Pitt is that O line is battered. Pitt by 3.
The Packers are so focused and confident right now...I really don't see any team beating them! GO PACK GO!
I am surprised noone talks about Pittsburgh's defense. It has been unreal all year and has only given up about 210 yds per game in the post-season. Now that is kicking butt.
