He was never bad. Rice came from SC If I'm not mistaken. Word was he had plenty of talent. Just goes to show what a good QB can do. TJ sucks!!

I wonder how much of the reports were hearing are true of Favre returning or retiring. Allot of It don't make sense to me. I bet Chilldress Isn't too happy about It.

I just watched Ed Werner interview him when Favre was in his truck. He said he'll play if healthy and he never sent a text message. I'm just going to take a wait and see attitude with this team. Since I'm a fantasy football player, I think it affects my board by quite a bit outside of Adrian Peterson but that's a whole different discussion.

He will be a Viking once training camp is over.

To bad for this stuff too. I won't remember Favre as the excellent QB he was/is, but instead of the prime time drama he has had each offseason for the past several years. I have no problem if he wants to continue playing, but I don't find it necessary to carry this type of act out each year.

    Ya think lol?

He will be a Viking once training camp is over.

I agree. However I don't think this time it even phased 75% of sports fans the way his antics did 2,3,4,5 years ago. I just kind of chuckled and changed the station. Kind of an old act that's lost it's interest. Play... don't play .... I could care less about what he does or what is talked about leading up to it.

I cannot understand why it affects some of so greatly by what he decides to do. The only reason ESPN reports on it as much as they do is because you guys are watching it driving their ratings up...

People say they want to see someone play for the love of the game, not for the money. Here you have that with Brett and now some want him to just go away. You get what you ask for and then wish it away.

I agree Buckeye, BUT if they are offering him more, it effects him enough to take it. The game IS more interesting with him playing. I personally watched alot more football last year as a result and will this year if he plays.

oh, and maybe some more drama from camp favre

    NY Post:

"Did old gunslinger Brett Favre show off his old gun to a busty ex-cheerleader? The ex-Green Bay Packer and Jet QB, now rumored to be mulling retirement from the Minnesota Vikings, supposedly sent cellphone pictures of his man-parts to Jenn Sterger, a buxom Florida-State-Cowgirl-cheerleader-turnedmen’s-mag-pinup-turned-The-Daily-Line-show-reporter, according to sports blog Deadspin.com. Sterger struck up a friendship with Favre when they both worked for the Jets. But things got weird, Deadspin reported, when Favre sent Sterger a cellphone snap that crossed the line between flirty and dirty. And it supposedly wasn’t just a one-time shocker. Favre allegedly sent her multiple indecent exposures, including one in which he’s pleasuring himself wearing a pair of Crocs. Sterger told Deadspin she didn’t want her name attached to the story and insisted, “I don’t roll that way. That way meaning old . . . or married,” according to an e-mail the blog reprinted."

If true, I might just join the haters. I highly doubt it's anything more than some bimbo's attempt at some publicity. If it were true, and she had a major problem with it, she's apparently got all the proof she needs. Where's it at?

well, ya, the whole married thing and all, sure...

edit - to be fair, since we don't know any details about his marriage, it is entirely possible that he and his wife are going thru some tough times (possibly readying a divorce) and he reached out to someone else... we just don't know... but its still kinda funny... in Crocs? really?? hahaha
