I am a big Packers fan and find this game Sunday very intriguing. However, I am desperate to get a deer on the ground.
I now know where my priorities are. I’m going hunting and sitting from dawn to dusk.
However, if I had some venison already in the freezer I would not hesitate skipping the after noon hunt tomorrow.
    I hope it pays off.

What the hell does that mean Jeff?

How about you do us a favor and avoid all Packers/Brett Favre/Football threads, thanks.

I will watch it, sadly because I just have not had any luck from stand. Not even a sighting bad year so I will watch the Vikes beat the pack.

Impress and "fit in" eh? Thats what you think its about....?

Maybe watching the game IS more important then hunting ONE afternoon, you wouldnt know, your not a Packers or a Favre fan.

If your gonna have the "hardass, i do my own thing attitude", then why come to a forum? Or better yet, post in a thread thats OBVOIUSLY for fun, and has nothing to do with hunting OR something you even care a little bit about?

AS far as i can remember, ive never taken any cheap shots at you, but you never fail to throw one in when you get a chance.

I rarely hunt during the afternoon on Saturday's due to college football.

    Hunting isn't everything.

I'd stay home and watch the game if I was a Packers fan.

If I have a choice of being outside doing anything or being inside watching a TV, well, I will be outside doing anything. Enjoy the game fellas.

You should do what YOU want to do. I'm going to work today, but if we could hunt on Sunday in Pa. I'd be out after work, no matter what was on t.v.

Wow, what a game. Favre amazed me with how he started the game, I figured emotions and nerves might handicap him some. The guy Is something, Harvin Is something special also. Rodgers has great talent with his arm and accuracy, the guy needs to learn how to avoid the rush some though. He's got the skills and tools, just needs to be a little more mobile the whole game Instead of half the game. He'll get there though.

That rookie DB for the Vikes (Paymah), man he stinks!! Winfield Is needed back bad!!

Way to go Brett. Now it's time to get rid of Ted Tompson and Mike McCarthy. They both suck.

Well...I didn't like how the Vikes allowed the Pack to get back into the game but at least they pulled it out in the end. The two turnovers by the Vikes (bad snap and fumble by a defensive end) were pretty retarded. The buy week is coming at a good time for them after a tough three game stretch. Hopefully Winfield will be ready to come back after after the buy.

Agreed Cooter, the one key difference at least this year than ever before is they are pulling out the win after they shoot themselves. In the past we would just lose the game. Harvin has impressed me as a rookie. And Bernard Berriam is way overated. Rice is going to be very good as he gets better every game. And yes Winfield is needed back. We need to step up and play solid all the way through and we can beat New Orleans if we do that.
