I mean seriously? What's the deal? Do you think these packaging people have taken it a little far? I'm all for protecting the product you're buying and all that. But do you really need an engineering degree to open some of the things these days? Geesh. I think they have too much time on their hands and figure out ways to make it harder to open stuff. Or they simply like pissing people like me off. Throw the dam thing in a box with some of that bubble stuff you pop and put it on a shelf.
If only they made the products as well as they are packaged. It is insane... especially with some of the things we have bought for the granddaughter in the last few years. Why do they need to wire a doll/toys that many times inside the box when once would have sufficed. It wasn't going anywheres without the wires to start with. You shouldn't need a knife, screwdriver, wire cutters, needle nose pliers and 5 minutes of wasted time to get toys out of the packaging. Tim
Thank God. This thread is not about NYbowhunters package. I was sort of skeptical about opening it. I know what you mean Ken. These things are made of the toughest plastic going. And then they weld them shut with the same stuff. I just give up and pull out my Gerber Gator and slice 2 sides off and break into it. They truly are a pain. I bet if we had a couple lawsuits for cuts like the McDonalds too hot cofffee.. they'd come up with something else.
Kids toys are the worst, I'm sure they spend more money wrapping the damn thing than the toy is worth.
I would be willing to bet money at some point in my life I will visit an emergency room due to the combination of a sealed plastic package and a box cutter. I can only hope Christine gets my paperwork afterwards.
They can be dangerous.... but I'd never go where you suggest. LOL I'm not that much a Klutz. LOL Besides that... Christine could hurt me.
