Looking a good pack to haul a lwcg .75 lock on stand and beast sticks. I like to attach the stand and sticks to a pack so I can haul my gear in the pack. Any recommendations thanks J

Back when I lugged a stand and sticks around I always packed the stand directly against my back using a set of padded straps and then hooked my bag over the stand so it rode out on the outside of the complete package. Hopefully that makes sense.

Doing it this way allows you to run pretty much any pack that you want.

I basically do it the way Jason said and I like it. I just bungie strap my backpack on and it’s real quiet and I don’t feel it sticks out anymore then I already do. I have never seen a pack that would work that way you are saying if you find one show me lol

Go to the XOP website and check out some their packs. I really don't know how much cargo room they have but they are really set up for packing stands in and out. Plus they have a pretty good sale going on right now.

How big of a pack you need?

I currently have LWCG .5 and 3 beast siticks.

I have it attached to a latitude ranger 11. Its a tiny pack, but i like it for bare essentials. They have the ranger 22 also, which is a good bit larger. I also used a cruzr escape pack. I liked it the most, very flat design. But didn't need the wasit belt and made it bulky to me. But very comfortable if you use a waist belt. The ranger 22 comes with a waist belt that is detachable.

I’m currently using a mystery ranch treehouse had it for years great pack. I just switched from saddle hunting back to a hang on and was wanting to see the different options everyone is using.

I would say the flatter the pack the better. Since you want to attach the stand to the pack. I do the same thing. And I also have a weird thing with having backpack straps hanging off a treestand.

It's perfect for the way I hunt, but it's very minimal. It's a good bit smaller than the stand. There's not much room in the pack. In the main compartment, I keep binos, rangefinder, grunt tube, 1 water bottle, and backup release. Maybe some food for longer sits. That fills it up, no more room. Rest of my stuff goes in outside pockets. Flash light, tags, hoist, hand pruners, etc.

I sewed a couple buckles on the stand and attached it to the pack. At the top. Used a loop at bottom of pack to slip the seat into. Here is the Ranger 11 pack beside the Cruzr escape pack also for size 20241113_173814.jpg 20241113_174143.jpg

No problem. I went thru i think 5 packs trying to refine my system. All have good and bad things for me, but im just about good with this one. I would like to see the ranger 22, just to compare the size.

I need a pack that is about 20" long and has a frame in it for hauling a quartered deer.
