I know there was a thread up for the show, but I couldn't seem to find the location.

I just want to say thanks to all the people I met this weekend at the show. You guys made me laugh my @$$ off.

Walking around with "Captain Sexy" was like walking around with the Mayor of small town. The fact that he introduced me as "doepeesteve" was pretty damn funny. Made me think about going to the Steve/PA format for AWHILE.

I can't say it enough though, what a great bunch of guys. I can only imagine getting together with you guys when you're not shooting or working. All I can say is, I'm buying the first round...

Speical thanks to Andy at Ultimate Camo. Not only did you introduce us to a great product, but you kept so much of our crap under that one table it was unreal. If we had to carry all that stuff around we wouldn't have bought nearly as much.

It was the perfect day to be there due to the snow. Non of the usual crowds and great company. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Unfortunately, I still fail at convincing the people in my life that they should consult me before planning anything. Oh well. Like Steve said, big thanks to Andy for the storage, beverage, and a peek at the new line. I'll be stocking up before next season.

Good to see and meet so many of you guys this weekend!

I'm pretty sure that Dan (jaws) and I were the only two shooting.

Dan shot very well (7 up I think?) but people will be shooting all week so who knows if his score will stand. I seriously suspect that he will likely win his class though.

I had a VERY good round going in MBO (Open Class). With 7 targets left, I had a pin nock fail on an arrow that caused pretty much a total dry fire on the shooting line, and also caused the string to jump the cam on the bottom. Unfortunately since my arrow made it beyond distance you can grab it from the line (only halfway to the target though ), IBO rules scored that as a 0. I could have taken the zero and tried to find someone with a press to fix the bow and finish the round 10 points down, but knew it wasn't possible to put together a serious score at that point, and also wasn't comfortable shooting again without a new string, and pulling everything apart to check the cams and roll the axles to make sure they weren't damaged.

In years past at this event, MBO seems to produce a winning score of being even to maybe 5 points up, but since this wasn't an IBO event before this year, all rounds historically were scored with center 12's. I was even with center 11's before the equipment failure with only 7 targets to go. The highest score I've seen for the first weekend so far was 13 down. :o

I still have IBO's Northeast 3D Championship in 2 weeks to qualify for worlds, but I've got to say I'm really disappointed that this happened in the middle of such a good round, and my first shot at a national event. :(

Wow, that's REALLY unfortunate. Sounds like you were well on your way to great score (and possibly a win). Is this the first time something like this has happened?

Rick, we've got confidence in you buddy. Get a new string on the baby and get ready to put a whooping on those guys in two weeks.

Me and my college buddies went on a road trip for the second year in a row. we were there for the first day when half the surrounding area was in a "Time of emergency". We were confused because we go to school in central New York and the snowfall they had was an every week thing by us. But it worked out perfectly because the show wasn't packed at all and we got to see alot. That place is huge, we walked around in circles because it was so big we got lost.
