What are the regs for hunting rivers in PA for waterfowl? I cant seem to find anything on the commisions webpage. There is a sandbar i want to hunt on the Mon. river in fayette county. The land adjacent to the sandbar is owned by the United States of America according to the fayette county auditor webpage. I can access the river via navigable waters but i dont know what the regs would be for actually setting up on the sandbar.

    thanks guys

Some islands are privately owned. I would call the the assessment office to verify. As long as you can legally access it, I can't think of anything that would be wrong with hunting it.
