I've been sending in for the drawing every year since they had a season. Haven't drawn yet. It's like winning the lottery if you get drawn.

I got other videos of them. They are fun to go see. I know that Pennsylvanian know that's we have elk but many out of staters do not. We have the Elk Visitors Center in the little town of Bennezette. It basically turned into a tourist attraction. September's Song in Elk County - YouTube

We make a trip up to that area every year. My wife visits her favorite wineries and I get to see some elk. It's a win-win .

 

When I was a child it was an annual tradition to go to Benezette at least for the day. I have been back once in 10 years and want to now take my kids up there. They are magnificent animals!
