It's amazing how fast the antlerless tags have sold out in most of the state. My WMU (5D) has almost never sold out during the entire season, but they're sold out 2 weeks before the season this year? I think it's odd.

they reduced the alloted amount for most WMU's this season.
I think I read 30,000 less across the state ?

2B usually never sells out but I think they are sold out now. I think a lot of people panicked when they heard that the allotment was reduced and jumped on first round. Which could be another reason why they sold so quick

Just checked and 2B and 2A are the only WMU's with tags left.

That's kind of interesting. I'm glad I got my 3 over the counter tags as soon as they were available.

Yeah they reduced the amount of tags they're selling in PA, that's been going on for the past few years.. I went with out a doe tag in 3B for the last couple years because I'd wait right up till season to get my tag and they'd be out of doe tags. Got my doe application sent out early this year but didn't send out for any bonus tags.

I don't know about the rest of the State but 2B usually has a late round sale around the start of the rifle season. I can complain though i got my tag.

Unless your in 4a where they still reduced your tags but added I don't know how many chronic waste tags which you can also use the first week of rifle but your not allowed to use your regular doe tag till the last week of rifle

It should not be a competition for residents. Non residents should have to send in but not residents.

this will definitely make more guys quit hunting. I know of at least three that said heck with it and quit. and I know another that got his returned and he said he's getting a doe anyways. so I think that there will be a lot of illegal activity going on now. well all I can say is that if people are quitting then that is less competition in the woods for me!

Ours were sold out about two weeks after opening (1B). They usually sell out pretty quick, though.
