Last night's cold front with rain had the deer on their feet this morning. Both bucks were 4 pointers...for some reason the big boys stayed put or stayed away from me. maybe the high winds kept them bedded? 20 mph gusts in central PA. Looking forward to a great week with colder weather toward the end for the last wknd of PA archery! Good luck all.
Had a similar experience here NE PA. Saw a 4 point and a basket -racked 7 or 8 pointer. Really thought the big ones would be on their feet.
Northeast PA as well. Only saw one spiker all day in the woods on Saturday. Felt like it was going to be a great day.
