Okay guys, here is my second homebrew, a Sony P41. It is my second build but the first one I built completely on my own.

    The components

Using the Pelican 1040 case, you have to dremel it a little bit to make the camera fit.

    Case drilled and pipe-thru installed

    Glass and fresnal installed

    Board installed

Case with base layer of camo started

    Camera painted

    Finished product

Well there she is boys. Got some touch up to do with the paint and some wires to tuck but it is mostly done. What do you think.

Nice build. I used a 1040 for my S40. Tight fit, but I like the size. Are you using externals?

How did you get the Liquid Nail to get smooth.. Did you heat it with a dryer? I know that stuff sticks to your fingers if you try to smooth it out.. I assume that is what you used for the texture on the front lid...

The texture is actually much more course now. I added more LN after it had dried for a few days. The way I get texture is to use a popsickle stick on it. Since LN takes days to dry, I let it set up for about 24 hours and then start working it with the popsickle stick.

    Blessings......Pastorjim
