I purchased the stick of Evercalm this week to use in the upcoming season. Do you use the stick or liquid?

Deer can smell you and the ever calm if the wind is not right. There is not a product made that can make a human not able to be picked up by a deer's nose, not ozonics, or ever calm or nose jammer or scentlok or any other product. Not ripping just saying. The wind is free use it.

Always put the wind in your favor. For the time when things don't go right - you should prepare to purchase yourself just a few extra seconds. My time is way too valuable to not be 100percent ready before it goes south. Happy Hunting...

I agree with Sota on this one, no cover scent is fooling a mature whitetail, maybe a young deer but not mature. I'm still not sure what to think about ozonics, some things I've seen makes me think there has to be something to it.

ive used it on the windy bluffs and had numeres encounters where deer are walking to my wind. if i didnt used it it would make a loud snort and run back where it came from. ive been through those situations where deer walked to your wind and run off before sota. try it before you judge it.

I Do use the wind....ever calm is an attractant as well as a cover scent. AND it works well as an attractant and cover scent.

The old saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink".

Well here's the water... Drink if you want. Ha

This is mine, I blast for 15 minutes every single time after I hunt. This needs to be outside of your house to be safe. Mine is at the work place.
I would not hesitate to do this in an old shed, with no plastic. As you use this unit - it will omit any odor in whatever surroundings you have it in. I actually thought I would wrap my closet with plastic, but it's not needed unless you just want to separate the closet from a certain room (which is what I wanted to do).

Note: the smell from the descent is weird. I have had deer follow my tracks even had 2 different deer at different times, follow my tracks to my ladder which goes up into my shooting house (they actually smelled my ladder) and walk away.
Like previously mentioned - if I'm wearing it or taking it with me to hunt, it gets descented. I put my clothes and everything in lockable tubs - the tubs get descented in the room as well. I mean literally everything. The clothes I wear to get to my spot before I change - get descented. I take them out of a plastic bag (plastic bag is descented) that morning just to wear them until I get to where I'm going to change. It looks and sounds like I'm crazy with descenting, but it is that easy once you have the unit and a place for it. I sit on plastic bags that have been descented on my truck seats as well as anyone else riding with me.

Just thought this might help someone. Good luck

Reading a lot of the testimonials I'd say it likely works. I just have a hard time spending that kind of money when I have other means that is much cheaper that seems to work well for me. It's all up to the person and whether they're convinced something is working. For those making fun of the idea there are possible health risks I'd say to them there were all kinds of people who thought asbestos was a great material that was used all the time for various applications until someone got sick from it.

I am a scent free fanatic I set up a clean tent to store my camo and change before hunting. I believe in ozone I treat every article of clothing and equipment that goes to the stand with me, I just don't want or need a machine in the tree with me.

I've been around a lot of guys I trust that swear by Ozonics. I have never bought into it. I refuse to believe it can be that effective in this type of environment. Not to mention Ozone is super bad for you and its one more piece of gear to carry into the field that has scent on it. One more thing to setup prior to the hunt. It's not happening.

Now I would certainly use a Ozone box type system to descent my gear without a second thought. That is assuming someone is going to give me one! :p

I wouldn't use one of those things if they were giving them away. It's just more BS to be lugging into the woods. Hunt the right wind for your position and you'll be golden!

I think the hype behind the units that are used while hunting are over rated and I would never use one. I had to search for something to help me out., especially my clothing (I have 2 boys as well). I needed something times 3. My wife is a girly girl and we have scent everywhere around us inside the house. This was the absolute cure that I was looking for. stuff that you could not descent is now doable if it can sit or hang on a hook inside the descenting room.
Here's the weired stuff I descent:
    Bow/gun
    Binoculars
    Rangefinder
    All calls (grunt, bleat, etc)
    Boots
    Backpack
    Safety harness
    Cell phone
    Ammo/arrows
    Release/clips
    Rattling antlers

Take care - on to the next interesting thread...

Common denominator. The naysayers are those without experience using it. Typical

Trial you seem like a logical guy, I imagine you could understand that the latest magic device that makes hunters invisible to a deer's nose might be met with doubt.
