Ozone for your Washing machine?

    This is also one of my fears, residual soap smells. I thoroughly clean the washer inside and out, and then run a cycle on hot double rinse with just scentless detergent. Maybe going to far but it helps, at least mentally.

    Precautions are good, scent spray has been proven in tests to not work. See the marketing people are the only ones benefitting from this stuff. Just my opinion n not my money. God bless you if it works for you. I just don't have a prob hunting

    Look into Scent Crusher products. They have a device you hook into your washer.

    Gotta get that cleaning powder or clorox the crap out of it. Then always leave the door open when not in use.

    Was sceptical of ozone generators until I had one installed d in the air handler for the air conditioner. In a ten year old unit that had a lot of mildew and crud built up it now looks clean enough to eat off of in there after one year. So for sanitizing I'm sold. Would like to try ozone in the rinse cycle after washing with scent free soap.
