I am about to have a closet in the house that is empty due to my son moving out. if I buy a ozone generator and put it in the closet with my hunting cloths, will that be effective in eliminating scent? if you have done this, which machine did you buy?

I bought a $30 (400 MG/H Ozonizer) off ebay and it works great with my portable closet. You may have to find a way to seal off any cracks in the closet to improve performance but it should work.

My understanding is that Ozone is harmful to breath. I would probably get one of those portable closets and treat the cloths outside.

Not sure about using it indoors. I would probably call the company on that.

I have an ozone machine I use in the house, the dog room, anywhere there is an odor. I have no concerns about using it indoors, the concentrations in a large air space will never get to harmful levels.

Wouldn't your money be better spent on an ozone machine for your stand?

That is a question of personal preference. I personally like to use Ozone to keep my truck, clothing, boots, and gear scent free. I have a system that works for me. I also enjoy self filming my hunts and as a result carry camera equipment to the field. I haven't felt the need to haul an ozone unit to the field. Someday if they become compact and powerful enough i may consider it. Until then I will continue to kill mature deer without bringing one to the field.

Nope I do not believe so. Clean is clean and I have no need to bring a machine in a tree. I have a $40 ozone machine I pretreat with.

Don't get me wrong, I don't own one and probably never will. In fact I'd be more likely to use one in my house I guess. Just trying to understand.
