I think every one of us in this thread can attest to this.

It's kind of weird. You can have a terrific local place. You know the kind where people line up outside the door to get in on a busy night. Then they open another location. And the quality slips. Just ain't the same. Then they open a third location and it's all over with.

Because the drive to optimize profits is greater with more investment with that comes less attention to detail and cutting corners

The BWW by my house has 20+ beers on tap, is this not the norm? Their food sucks but for some reason my wife likes the nachos. She has me go & get them, pound down a couple tall Fat Tires and get her some takeout, BWW is ok for that.

All of these are overpriced, I wouldn't say overrated because noone I know ranks them very high.

    Applebess should be closed.
    TGIFridays
    Chilis
    Outback & Lonestar steakhouses
Olive Garden(or any other Darden restaurant), Macaroni Grill, Bravos...unless you like a 20x mark up on pasta and overpriced wine.

Always better to find the small local places with someone who knows what they're doing in the back of the house.

On the rare occasion we do get to BWW - I never get the boneless "wings"...they are so dry!

I am a sucker for buffalo chicken wraps. I find myself at BWW once or twice a year getting theirs, it is worth a try to anyone who likes wraps. As far as I am concerned their wings are mehh at best. I would bet that if they did not have a boat load of sauces to choose from they would get way less business.

One of the more well known places to get wings in the twin cities is fairly close to where I live so thats where myself and my buddies go when we are in the mood for wings and a good tap lineup.

Here lately I seem to only want to stop for food at Subway or a local steakhouse. Subway's spicy Italian BMT with the sweet onion sauce is the only thing I have tried there and the only thing I ever need, lol.

You seem more concerned about me not killing a buck for awhile than I am. Lol

I never got a text at lunch time. I'm feeling rejected.

I love a good broasted wing. BBQ sauce should only be put on beef and pork.

Someone else wanted in on the Hooters gig? Don't see much difference between the two.

B-Dubs is great for catching a game and drinking a few games. I prefer the boneless wings myself- you get more meat- which is what you're paying for!

But if you haven't had it, try the Big Jack Daddy burger... Holy cow... That's some good stuff. A burger topped with cheese, pulled pork, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and smothered in sweet barbecue sauce... I get a craving for it every few months.

Tilted Kilt is the new Hooters anyway, sights are much better. Food, about what you expect. Wings are the best invention since sliced bread. Of course, out of my smoker are the best. BWW are very overrated. Its the atmosphere were you can go in with a few buddies and watch a couple diff games at the same time. Chipolte is about the best fast food option health wise up here.

We stock the boneless wings next to the feminine products in our grocery stores.

BWW's Asian Zing is one of the best wing sauces I've ever had. They make a good steak wrap too, but they are too expensive for my taste. I prefer the local hole in the wall redneck bars. I can eat/drink twice as much for the same tab and they are only 10 minutes from my house.

The scenery at the local BWW's is actually pretty legit...not tilted kilt level though.

I will always take the local hole in the wall to chains all day long... We are lucky to have one of the best burger joints in central Minnesota 10 minutes away. Go there numerous times a week. "Goodfellas bar and grill!"

Be sure to eat your "wings" with a fork so you don't get any sauce on your hands.
