I only read 8 pages...have Skyline or Gold Star been mentioned? The Cincy guys will kill me for this, but both restaurants are puke worthy. And it's not actually chili!
Going out is merely a way to get something to eat without having to do the cooking... for whatever reason. My son and I often go to Zaxby's, Moes or Arby's but the food, such as it is, is merely something that lets us spend time together without worrying about the details. For that we spend $18.69 for someone else to prepare two meals containing maybe 2.00 worth of ingredients.
Meeting my wife and kids there in 1 hour. I'll let you know. I plan on consuming a couple thousand calories of burgers and ice cream. hahaha
I'm not even sure which part is my problem... Lol Zaxbys being a meal fit for Zeus or BWW sucking ***. Both are common facts of life.
I dunno about Gold Star (never heard of it?) but I believe Skyline has not been mentioned; and it probably should be. Maybe not "national" enough? Anyway, I have no idea why people rave about it. It's an awesome topping for hot dogs, but that's about it. Does not have enough heft to stand alone as a real "chili."
I don't know how many locations this chain has , but Izzo's Burritos out of Louisiana blows Freebirds out of the water. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I generally prefer privately owned restaurants, but I travel a lot and you never know what you are going to get with a private place you aren't familiar with. With a chain you at least know what to expect. B-Dubs is OK, the wings are decent (not great, not terrible) but the prices are def high. I hate their stance on 2nd amendment rights and try not to frequent them often because of that. When it comes to wings, I usually prefer to find a good dive bar, I just prefer the environment and atmosphere. If I'm going to a chain I'm usually picking the location based on scenery as most all of the food is mediocre.
This is off topic but having a stance against people carrying firearms in your place of business and being against the 2nd amendment are two entirely different things. There's a clause in our company handbook that says you're not allowed to bring weapons or firearms to our office. Does that mean we're against the 2nd amendment?
They're afraid you're going to realize the boneless wings are actually breast nuggets and shoot the place up.
