I know this is a bowhunting site and I might get prodded at a little for saying this, but I'm not just a 100% pure bowhunter. I love chasing after waterfowl, pheasants, turkeys, and you'll even see me on stand with a rifle come November. That being said, One show I watch pretty religiously is Gun It w/ Benny Spies. He's doesn't shoot the biggest deer or the most birds by a long shot, and as far as information goes his show is pretty much worthless. But the way it portrays the average Joe hunter in the Midwest is about as close to perfect as you'll get. It's just him and a bunch of buddies going out and having a good time. And to me that's what hunting is all about! Of course I'd love to send an arrow through a certain buck I've been chasing for the last 3 seasons, but if I don't but still manage to have fun the season is far from lost for me.
I love Deer and Deer Hunting and Midwest Whitetails. Deer and Deer Hunting is the Most Informative hunting show I know of. I have learned a TON of things from them. They have an App called Vital Information that you can download to your phone that shows you the angle entry of your shot and how to make correct shot placements. They have a good website too.
