No horn porn. Sorry. This is the reason I didn't go look at monster deer at the Iowa Deer show. It's our third bowfishing/archery booth show so far this year. I don't know how many kids shot at the archery booth but I know we went through well over 400 muzzy stickers. Our booth isn't pretty but it stays busy. So anyhow, here are some pictures. I didn't take very many because we were so busy. It was fun and I thought I'd share the pics. Ken Sharp guarding the booth. Outside they had a fish pond with bass, trout and some big cats. I saw several kids walking around with dead trout... it was kind of funny. A huge thanks to Ken, Dave, Joanne, Mike, Kendall and also to Jerry and Troy! ...note that almost all the stuff got crammed into my truck after the show.
Looks like a lot of kids had fun, and maybe a few adults too. I'll see you in June at the IL Family Fishing Fair. Also gonna join the club tonight, you seem like an ok crowd. If you will allow a MO resident in. :D
We set a new record for "youngest" youngster to shoot. This guy was just 1 year old. The hardest ones are the "I know how to do it" kids that then grab it with a fist. I woulda made good money if I got a dime for every time I said "Don't grab the arrow", "No thumb", "Just three fingers", "Stop", "Let go with this hand", and many more. I said "three fingers!" Boy, we went through a bunch of ballons. And our Buffalo target is just about done for...
Who bought those little bitty brain aneurysm inducing balloons? Cripes, I gave up trying to blow those up . I think the club needs to spring for an air tank next year.
Thanks John, we'll need you at the Family Fishing Flood... errr I mean, Fair. We allow MO residents in the club.... but they have a special initiation process. :D
