I have one apple tree of 9 on my place that is a deer magnet after the season is over(holds apples really late, see em in first pix).. so yesterday I put a trail cam up (look close on tree u can see the green ratchet strap) and threw a bail of alfalfa out there (yesterday) just in case. I was really hoping to get some pix of local bucks for inventory. I set up another bail in a different spot. I woke up to this guy, he stayed for 2 hours.. its my (estimate) 3.5 year old I posted about a week ago.. split brow 5x5 (so 6x6 total) nice young buck, was fun taking pix of him out the window this morning. I couldnt believe how comfortable he is out there, havent seen him in the daylight all season, I swear they know when its over! There are still a lot of apples on the tree, he munched on the bail too, hes gonna winter good if he stays here, I sure hope he sheds close too! I watched him leave this morning I dont think hes gonna bed far away.. check out that last pix, big ole apple up in his mouth, thought that was funny...:)

Very nice Troy :) I also swear they have a calender in the woods :D Times like those is the only reason I regret having my two Labs running around. I used to get Deer in the yard, but the Dogs dont even allow a Opposum to get close anymore :( Hope you find his sheds!

Very cool. My dad gets regular visitors in the backyard during the winter he can watch. I hope to be able to have a view like that some day.

Sweet pics. Since you can feed the deer there build yourself a "shed trap". You'll be sure to catch his sheds and several others no doubt.
