Well I bowhunt in SE Michigan and rifle hunt up in the NW lower Peninsula. But I'm planning on doing some bowhunting in Ohio, Nebraska and Illinois this fall! Which essentially means my girlfriend will be leaving me this fall for sure lol

Bowfreak, where in Ohio were you planning on hitting?

We'll look forward to meeting you, Brandon. Until just now, I had NO IDEA where/who was hosting us. I'm just along for the ride (and the experience/camaraderie). Hope we can make it happen (meeting up).

I'm just looking forward to seeing some new country.....and some magnum deer....lol.

I've got a good line on a SC hog hunt, also. If I can't make that happen this year, it'll surely happen in 2011. Anyone wanting to hunt some fair-chase hogs in SC in 2011.....let me know. I'll set it up. $495 for 3 days....includes lodging; all meals; 1 trophy boar and 2 "piggy" sized porkers. I'll have to make sure compounds are allowed, there, though (which I'll do, now).

Wilbur.....thanks again buddy, for the opportunity.

Sounds like a plan. Work it out with WIll....and we'll make it happen.

Make it dinner (it'll be dark, early, then). We can get an adult beverage, somewhere.

Hey Stikbow, I'm from just the other side of the Ottawa/Kent County lines, gotta love West Michigan. Although I know you've found some much better deer huntin down in Illinois and the like!

Bow Freak - I still haven't figured out where I'll be hunting in Ohio. NW Ohio would be closest to me, but we'll see. I just moved to a farm just outside of Ann Arbor, so I'll be bowhunting here and a few farms around the Jackson area as well.

    Troy,

Sorry, the question you posed to me fell through the cracks. Yes, a hunter host can only host a NRA if he has not hosted a NRA in the previous two fiscal years. Didn't you hunt with Rocky?

ICAll, Let's make it happen. We will be there around Nov. 6th.

Where you going to be hunting at? My son lives in Goodrich, I have always wanted to go out there to hunt, (his step Dad is a farmer, and they have a ton of land, so my lodging would be free:D,) :Dbut that would just be wierd.:rolleyes:Do you have to draw for a buck tag, or can you just buy a tag over the counter? I know I could just go oout, and buy a doe tag over the counter.
