Hey guys so I am thinking about starting to get preference points next yet for Iowa and I know for bow it will take a couple years to get a tag. But I just want to get ahead of the game and see what you guys do or did for going into Iowa when your out of state. Did you hunt public land? Go through an outfitter? Knock on doors for people with private land and build a relationship? Im located in WI and want to start dipping into out of state hunts. I know there is other states that are easier to get a tag for but when it comes to how long you have to wait for a tag in certain states I want to make it worth it.
