I've come across several pieces on out of state hunters legally "screwing up" out West. Legal kills but not in the "social " correct place.
This makes me question the DNR and licensing places culpability in all the hunters bad press. Why not inform OUT OF STATE hunters of possible local issues in particular areas? How difficult would
that be? A meeting called of the regional DNR officers, discussions of more human populated legal hunting areas where legal kills could ooccur.Produce a information sheet with maps, while listing potential issues at certain mapped areas. That would allow OUT OF STATE hunters to understand possible issues and either do better timing/ planning in such areas or choose to avoid them.

    Your thoughts

Locals are always going to hate outsiders, the way it is.

True but there are apparently specific areas the obviously DNR offficials know to be more "problematic" than others. In example legal public that butts up to " for ever wild " private, specific areas KNOWN to be say elk public viewing and photography areas.
Just give out of state hunters a heads up.
Hey, I understand a dislike for out of state hunters. It does'nt take too many, not so great ones, to screw it up for the rest. That said they love the $$$$$ they bring in for the DNR and the locals. It shouldn't be a difficult premise to avoid issues
