We made the drive all the way to the Pacific (La Push is incredible), and was able to do 2 short hikes in the National Park in one day. It doesn't get dark till like 11 right now, so you have plenty of daylight. It's a really nice drive as well. Lake Crescent is unbelievable.

As for the road closures, I'm not sure. We drove to Hurricane Ridge road, not sure if it is the same as Hurricane Hill road. I'd still try to make the drive.

Went there with the family back in 2006. I'd love to get back on a hunting/fishing trip someday.

Thanks Hook! I'd definitely like to check it out.

We've also got a groupon for this place for dinner one night. http://www.seattlemirchmasala.com/ Gotta save money where we can. I know how you guys love Indian food. :)

Here's a pic of one of the rooms of the Hotel we're staying at. "Hotel Five"

    Hotel looks awesome.

If you don't mind a bit of a wait, you must, and I mean must, have lunch at Salumi. It's simply amazing.

Good deal. We went through Princess as well. Balcony is the only way to roll on an Alaskan cruise. I would get up in the morning, grab a coffee, and sit on the balcony watching the mountains, glaciers, whales and other interesting things crusie by. Without a doubt the best trip of my life.

I think next time we're going on Royal Carribean.
