Well...the wife and I leave for Seattle on Wednesday and will be spending three nights there. On Saturday, we board our cruise ship and head to Alaska. Here are some of the things we'll be doing while there. I'll take plenty of pics and hope to have a few keepers. Whale watching tour Float plane tour Salmon fishing DIY drive tour to the Yukon. And a little bit of this....
That is definitely a trip of a life time. Have fun and take lots of pictures. What do you have planned for Seattle? That is a great city.
Float plane will be the coolest experience if you haven't done something like that before...can't wait to go back, I'll hopefully be living there in a few years if ya wanna come visit for a return trip
The typical touristy things. Space needle, the new Chihuly Gardens and Glass, Pike Place Market, and a couple parks for photo ops of the city. Thanks for the offer Trevor...I very well might take you up on it.
I am so excited... what time did you say my wife and I were supposed to meet you guys? LOL Alaska is incredible!!! You'll love it!!!
Have fun man, it's a blast! My wife (then girlfriend) and I went on an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle almost 5 years ago and actually got engaged on that trip. If there was one thing in my life I want to do again before I die, that's it. Make sure you take a ton of photos and enjoy every minute of it. Here's a few pics from our trip.
You want to do the train ride in Skagway .... kayaking in the ocean.... and Glacier Bay ... all must dos as well .... have a great time, Bro! Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
Take a drive around Whidbey Island, hike around Mt. Rainier, and if you have time, drive to Olympic National Park one day. The needle and the market will only take one day to tour, and then you'll want to get out of the city. I highly recommend touring Whidbey Island, if your wife is anything like mine, she will love all the quaint little towns with their shops.
Justin....awesome pics man! Matt, my camera is definitely going to get a workout. I've been practicing so hopefully I get some decent photos. Hooker...I just looked at Olympic National Park's website and it had this alert? Is this a dealbreaker or no big thang? Looks like the national park is about 2.5 hours away...I'll see if the wife will go for that. Thanks for the suggestions.
