My little guy is really starting to come along with shooting his bow that santa brought him for Xmas. We had a little hiccup where we had to exchange his bow for a right handed model (he is Left handed) due to eye dominance but he can see much better now.

We still have plenty to work on form wise and I am going to make his DL a little longer tonight but all in all he is doing great and is having fun.

Please don't mind our messy basement.

Very nice Brad! I know that my oldest loves when we pull the block out or he gets to go the range. My second boy chose the archery club banquet for his birthday dinner this weekend. It's a blast getting kids into archery.

Great! Glad to see he is enjoying it, looks like he is already getting the hang of it.

Something like this is such a good reminder of what means to be a parent.
We see all the negatives and challenges we face raising children in today's world. But sometimes we need to remind ourselves that it's the small things we teach them that add up and end making a difference.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

That is such a great job, really good form and very nice grouping. Keep up the great work. I am going to teach my Grandson to shoot when he's old enough. He is 1 1/2 now so there is time yet.

Outstanding Brad, I really love it.

I am coming up with a plan for the upcoming season for my son. I want to take a 100-200 acre spot where I hunt and only scout it with my son. I want to game plan the spot with him and only hunt spots he and I come up with as a team. It is just something I have been thinking of doing because he loves to be outdoors so much.

    Brad, That's awesome!!!

Nice pictures and video!, and he shot great too! . . Just think how good he will be with a bow in 5 years! :)

Its nice to be able to teach kids at a young age, wish I could have started my son when he was that young!

Nice to see him shooting a Diamond! :tu:

Good job, Dad, and son. I only started with archery three years ago, wish I would have been into it when my kids were young...a great family activity, and nothing but positive. That kids' got potential right there.
