We took off for spring break last week. Headed west to Utah and then Colorado. Here are some of the pictures we took on our travels. We had some good weather and some not so good. Lots of snow.

This elk was messing with us so I walked out there to show him who was boss.

As someone mentioned, it's Bryce Canyon in Utah. Similar formations in Colorado but no where near as compelling and expansive.

Again great pictures. Man I wish farming didn't get in the way so I could go out to Idaho for elk hunting in the fall. I've always dreamed about bow hunting elk in the mountains since I was a kid. Residents can hunt elk in ND if they are lucky enough to draw a tag which is very hard to do but it isn't the same as hunting in the mountians. Not even interested in wasting my time here for elk. I would rather hunt whitetails.

Enjoy it if you can do it. I am very envious of you and other who do go. I really enjoy reading and seeing the pictures of your's and others travels when it comes to elk. It about kills me to hear Troy talk about what is out his back door. Someday !!!!

They will all fall in time. Some rocks have already fallen but nobody takes pictures of them.:poke: Thanks I'm glad you liked the pictures.

Tim Keep the dream alive and make it out west someday.I think every hunter should hear the scream of a bull elk atleast once in his life.
