My number one passion growing up was hockey. I was a goalie throughout my entire childhood but when I started beer leagues I moved up to defense. I enjoy playing and watching at all levels and I also enjoy fantasy hockey and NHL 18 on the PS4. I also enjoy fishing for walleye and bass during the spring and summer. My odd hobby is disc golf, I probably own over 100 disc and I have used pretty much all of them. Plus, if I lose a disc in the woods I have a chance to find a shed lol
I've been trying to get my Chevelle ready to go to the drag strip this Sunday. I just had the engine freshened up and dyno tuned. I still have to figure out the best way to get it to hook up. It likes to fry the tires. https://www.facebook.com/cindy.eckert You will have to scroll down to Oct. 8th for the video. I don't know how to post just the video. Sorry.
I spend a lot of time doing ministry work, teaching and attending bible study classes. I also usually work security at our church conventions each year, which usually have anywhere from 3,000-25,000 attendees depending on the venue. That gets interesting sometimes. As I type this I am working on a talk for tonight's bible study session on the bible's historical accuracy.
Gardening, Garden Railroading, and Garden Tractors. I don't mean the box store lawn mowers but the true Garden Tractors built to use ground engaging equipment. Have about 13 now all running. Most are Bolens made by FMC. Oldest original is a 1960 Ride-a-matic with a 7 hp Kohler, rope start. 7 yo granddaughters tractor now. Bolens were a beast of a tractor. Would take 3 box store mowers to make one Bolens. No plastic on them.

Building my Jeep and off-roading. Also love bird hunting and dog training. Have a Springer and get a Golden Retriever puppy next week. Those keep me busy and broke.
All hunting aside - I live for dirt track racing. Every weekend is spent at the track from May-September. All week is preparing the car. When I get a spare moment - I spend it with the horses.
Fly fishing, fly tying, golf and playing basketball. And that’s only because my son is only (about to be) 3. Once he’s older and playing sports, I know my current list will change. And waterfowl hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My daughter plays soccer and I enjoy going to her games, play wrestling with my son, I like to go camping and fishing, I have a fish aquarium that I find peaceful to watch and maintain, making wine (I have 2 batches of cabernet sauvignon bulk aging now - about 70 bottles worth). I tinker with solar power and improving my off grid cabin, chopping firewood, trying new beers and I enjoy a cigar occasionally.
