I buy off the net all the time with no problems. I would say this site is pretty safe but I've never purchased anything from here....I always shop around for the best buys.

I have an account just for online transactions, with a card and pay-pal attached to it....I only keep around $1,000 in it, so if it dose get hit...I wont be losing much.

    Hey Mike,
I pretty much do the same. I have a checking account just for online purchases. When I know I'm going to buy something I move money into and make the purchase.
You can get free checking accounts at basically any bank these days.

To answer Mike's question - yes, the site is secure and safe for online ordering. By law we cannot store your full credit card information after you check out so there's nothing for anyone to ever get ahold of and potentially use. Additionally, when submitting an order your information is encrypted as it's passed to us, and then to our payment gateway. To check any site before inputting your credit card info just make sure you're at a secure address (beginning with https://) and look for the little lock icon in your address bar.

I'll never understand why someone would give a complete stranger their credit card or bank info over the phone, but scared to enter it into a secure site.

These dudes know what they are doing. Its safe.

BH.com is a safe and secure site to order from. I've been burned in the past on ebay and with small-time websites, so now, I only order from respectable sites like bowhunting.com and Cabela's.

I have no security concerns about placing an order on this site. As stated above, bowhunting.com is mandated by law to delete all credit / debit card information, and this site is run by good, honest, law-abiding and trustworthy sportsmen.

    Purchase with confidence.

There was once a young man who worked at the bowhunting.com office who happily answered each and every call with positivity, helpfulness and patience. Many know him as the Big Shooter, and he was good.

Agree with everything Justin said, but I would just like to add a few pointers for everyone. No matter how secure the site is that you are ordering from that is only one side of the transaction. You also have to insure that your computer is free of viruses, trojans, keyloggers, etc. There are many out there that infest themselves in your computer and collect your personal information such as bank acct & credit card numbers, usernames, passwords, etc. And unfortunately many times you don't even know you are infected until it is too late. A program I use, which is free and very effective, is called MalwareBytes. It is not real time protection so you do have to run it manually. I use this in addition to my normal antivirus program. Any questions, feel free to ask.
