I certainly don't know as much as a lot of people on this site when it comes to the technical aspect of archery. But, just being on a couple forums over the last 4 years or so, I feel like I've gained a ton of knowledge on the subject and know more than most; even more than most of the archery shops around here. None that I've dealt with even talk about this stuff. Maybe because they think it's over-the-head of most people and they don't need to worry about it. Maybe the shops just don't know. That's why I'm committed to learning and practicing on my own equipment. I'm personally glad for the resources and knowledge you guys share.

Which leads to another topic on some of the basic things I need to work on my equipment (bow press, arrow saw, bow vise, etc.)

    Thanks again fellas.

I personally MUCH prefer Archers Advantage over OT2.I HATE they way OT2 uses cam style instead of actual performance to select arrow spine.Atleast NOW OT2 has a few more cam selection than before that cover the real fast bows but if your bow doesn't reach peak performance,it is a pain to try and calibrate it to your bow.(I know there is a performance slider) but from my experience,it sucks.

To set AA all you need is the speed and arrow weight and calibrate.Good to go.

As to your question.I am starting to go HIGH FOC.This year I used 19% and can see me going with more.I love the way they tune/penetrate and shoot.

Speed is WAY over rated so that doesn't get much attention for more than figuring ke/momentum and calibrating my program.

Naturally,by trying to shoot high foc,I need a lower weight shaft so I used the Pro Hunter in the .440 spine with a 150 grain broadhead for a total arrow weight of 418.

OH,and I am a die hard feather guy at the moment.
