Like the title suggests I'm looking for opinions on what black flash camera will work best for my current situation. The property I hunt is right along a river which is pretty busy during most of the year. Where the camera will be going will be in a 8ft wide strip of extremely thick brush and young willows. I have never put a camera inside this strip because people often get off their boats and go pee in this strip of willows but I know for a fact that the deer heavily use this strip for travel. My question is will the camera being in thick cover in the shade affect picture quality at all? If not which no glow camera will work best? I would prefer for it to be black flash instead of regular IR in case someone wonders up on my camera they won't be tipped off by the red flash.
The more cover around to reflect the flash the better the pictures will be. The worst thing you can do with an IR cam is out it out in an open field. That said...go all out. Covert Black 60. Will not disapoint. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I would go with the MP6BLACK from Wingsupply: DLC Covert Mossy Oak Infinity MP6 Black Game Camera - Wing Supply It will do great in the thick cover/spot you are talking about. Plus is it super small and blends in good. Keep us updated.
Lots of people on most streams and rivers so most likely it will walk off if you ask me. Not to mention flash floods killed three of my cams last year in the river bottom
I live in california and right now flash floods are the least of my worries haha I think I'm going to get one black 60 and one mp6 black and see which one I like better. Then I'll probably end up replacing the rest of my cameras with whatever one I like better
2013 Moultrie M-990i, 2014 Browning BTC-6 Dark Ops, or 2014 Stealth cam 42NG are all solid performers and all run around $130.00. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
i love my moultrie 990 way better then my covert black 60. imo. clearer pics seems to have better range too.
I have both the mp6 black and the black 60 both are awesome cams unbelievable battery life, true blackout cams I don't use my old red flash cams except for the driveway or as a decoy for thieves.
all cameras talked about are good the G42 stealth cam is real good the best pictures day and night and its a 2014 = coverts new cams are not out yet soon i hope = the 2013 m990 is better than the 2014 one a step backward JMO = browning 2014 is much better than last years a big jump up for the money right now its the G42 around $130.00 with shipping on ebay best night pictures too
So no one has had any Issues with their new Black 60's??? Lol! There Isn't a Black Flash cam that takes great pics. So far most black flash cams take ok ones no matter the brand of cam.
not when 80% of the people posting on this site are on there prostaff.... haha i like my m990i better then my black 60 for the record
