Need some insight from all you members. My buddy and I were thinking of purchasing a two-man ground blind and we're not sure which to get. Are there any particular brands to buy/stay away from? Any information is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

In my opinion any blind will work if you do your part in camouflaging it to the surroundings. Brush loops for adding sticks and grasses to the actual blind are the only selling point I really listen too (well the silver lined ones also). But honestly if you purchase one and water proof spray the thing, air dry it and then properly store it every year your set no matter what...get on in your price range and how ever high you want and get hunting!

Material is a big thing to look at as well as window openings and their closures. Velcro windows suck for obvious noise reasons and so do cheap blinds with cheap material. And like tyni said, brushing them in will make a huge difference. Deer are much more paranoid of blinds than turkeys are.

I've had a couple cheaper blinds in the past and went through the old "you get what you pay for" instances. I finally broke down, spent a bit more money, and bought a Double Bull, and I love it. It works for me! Good luck in your search.

The more you spend the better off you will likely be. I have the Bone Collector from Ameristep ($200 @ BPS). Easily fit me and a buddy with two tailgate chairs and our gear. If you keep your blind in the same spot all season the deer become use to it being there. Mine has the velcro screens which do make noise, but if you get in your stand early and open them (or just leave them open and only close the hook and loop solid screens) you are fine. Wear black jackets/coats and headgear and you are in there like swimwear my man! Do work. Good Luck!

Go somewhere like Bass Pro or Cabela's with your buddy and get in a few blinds! What looks big enough will surprise you at how small they really are! I had a doghouse blind for a couple of years and thought it was big enough till I got in a Double Bull Dark Horse! Now I have the Dark Horse and more room! Their are a couple that have even more room but I didn't like the way they were set up as far as window height and such!

Thanks for the insight, gents. I keep seeing the Double Bull Dark Horse mentioned and did some research on that specific blind. Looks like a nice set up and could be big enough for both of us and our equipment. Appreciate it!

You'll have plenty of room in the Dark Horse. I've had up to 3 people in mine, with gear, on a mentored turkey hunt, and it worked great for us. You can see mine in action, on Season 2 episode 3, where I take all my gear in and set it up the same day for turkeys. If you can get a chance to go in one, you'll see what I mean. Good luck!

I have the predator blind that Cabela's sells which is made by double bull or Primos now I believe. 2 guys can turkey hunt out of it with no problem. Get a hub blind you will have more room to bow hunt. Just my 2 cents.

I've use a couple blinds in the past few years and they all serve their purpose. I really want to get a Blind Ambitions Bale Blind, but just don't have the money to throw at 1 of them. I really like my Big Mike Blind. I like that I can shoot standing up with ease and yet it still has a small footprint and room for 2.

This! I have one of these and the room is incredible. They also make some even bigger ones. Here's their website. http://www.barronettblinds.com/
