Anyone have experience with them or an opinion based on other hunters you know that have used them?

I shot Steelhead 100's for along time and they performed very well for me.

Then for giggles I switched to G5 Strikers a few years ago and they are a quality head.

But, i'm kicking around the idea of going to a head that will inflict a little extra damage to a deer making a larger hole...and these heads look like they might be the ticket?

Everything I've heard from those I've known that used them point to them being a solid head.

I bought a pack of T3's yesterday. They are very easy to take apart if you want to change blades. I got a hang of the retention clips pretty quickly after watching a video on G5's website on how to put the broadhead together. The pack came with a practice head which is grouping right with my fieldpoints. The blades seem very sharp and strong. It only takes 2-3 lbs of energy to open the blades so there is little energy loss on impact...but the retention clips seem to keep the blades plenty tight to ensure they would not open during flight.

Looking forward to blasting one of these bad boys through a deer this fall!

Are you saying don't open up the clips more? Or don't open the blades?
