I looking to get a new sight and release

    Im currently shooting:

    2013 Bowtech Experince
    28 1/2 draw length
    68lb draw weight
apex 4 pin bone collector sight
    qad hdx rest
trophy ridge static stabilizer 9 inch
carbon express maxima blue streaks 250's
    tru ball wrist release

Im really wanting to get a 4 or 5 all .10 pin sight, maybe possibly a .10 single pin sight, money isnt the object here i just really want a nice, quality sight that will help my sight picture and accuarcy

And im looking for a 4 finger hand release, either tru ball or tru fire, just looking for opinions and reviews on what yall are shooting and what yall recomend!

    Thanks!

For a single pin site I'd recommend the spot hogg hogg father. Its about the second most expensive single pin out there but it is awesome.

HHA single pin sight. Great product, lifetime warranty and they have great customer service. Im using a truball 4 finger release. Dont know the model off the top of my head but I like it.

All metal construction so ya very durable and they come with easy to follow instructions to sight them in. And you have this website for help as well. They have me as a customer for a good while due to the customer service. I bought my site used amd didnt have some parts and they sent them to me free of charge.

Oh wow the customer service sounds awesome, Isnt there some math equation or something you have to do to get it dialed in?

I owned HHA and that was an excellent sight! Deadly accurate and holds very well. This year I went with a black gold ascent ambush, with a 6 inch dove tail. You can custom make your own black gold sights and get any size in the fiber optics plus what ever color you want.

How much of a difference would the 2 inches make in a dovetail. After the season Im picking up a new bow and sight and will probably go with black gold and get a pin adjustable sight with a dove tail. Just not sure on the 4 or 6 since I dont know how big a difference it would make.

I not sure how much of a difference two inches would make. But Ive got mine extended out to about 5 inches and its perfectly flush with my stabilizer. I'm happy I went with the six inch because I was debating on the four inch my self.

Another one for the HHA sites and I really like the itty bitty goose neck release by Scott.

All you dobis sight in your 20 with a number on the sight in tape then step back to either 40 or 60 and sight it in to another number and subtract the 2. Then pick the corresponding tape based on the chart in the instructions.

I love my BG Ascent with the 4" dovetail. It's a very versatile site and makes practicing at long range easy. I think it's the best accessory I've put on my bow :tu:

I have had an HHA and recently purchased the Trophy Ridge React for my Heli-m. Can't say enough good things about the React, 5 pin sight with the smart pin technology. Once I got the 20 yard pin sighted in (fixed pin) I worked on the 30 which moves the 40, 50 and 60 pins as you adjust. After I had the 30 set just right I decided to test the "smart pin" stuff and shot one arrow at 50 yards and was dead center. The sight is not very heavy and seems pretty dang solid to me plus saves time sighting in the remaining three pins. Definitely one to take a look at and it's $150 for it in black. Camo is a few bucks more and don't think you can get it in Lost Camo yet.

Im shooting a custom Black Gold Widowmaker on a 4" dovetail, if i bought another custom Black Gold (which i will in the future) i would get a 6" dovetail for a bit more adjustment. The 4" has been serving me well though and i have great clarity with the Big Dog guard. I love Black Gold products and the fiber optics are second to none IMO

I love my Trophy Ridge React. Very user friendly and it actually works as advertised. I also changed from a 3/16" peep to a 1/4" one because the ring was larger than my old sight.
