Wow....is all I can say to explain opening day for me in West Virginia. The morning started off perfect cool and crisp. I saw 8 does a small 4 point and a nice young 8 point. The 8 went on to grunt and chase the does for almost hour, it was surprising to see him chasing already but it was an awesome experience. The evening hunt was not quite as eventful but I saw another young 8 (a lil bigger), then finally at that magical time here the buck I have dubbed the "wide 8" he stayed just out of reach for a shot. None the less it was the best opening day I have had has a hunter.
