Congrats on the doe, Rob. You know...... if you ever get a fully intact deer, you should probably get a full body mount. Who knows if you'll ever get another one!! ;)

IMO the deer didn't suffer from poor genetics but rather a poor shot from a gun hunter if you know what I mean...

Congrats Rob, very wild leg there, I killed a cow elk once that had a leg like that.. Amazing how resilient they are.

I'd say we start calling Rob tripod but I'm sure he'd let it go to his head and start bragging otherwise...;):D

I guess we could just call her the tripod doe...

    Thanks Walt. Much appreciated.

jackflap, how true that is. I'm sure she could run but she just looked so pitiful hobbling. A great doe to tag.

Will, I sure do don't I. Thank you sir.

GregH, I hear ya brother but alas we forget, every now and again I pull a "normal" deer out of the herd. As GMMAT so willingly reminds us, my IL buck was symmetrical and intact as well as my 06 buck but I'd bet there had to be something wrong with them huh, maybe internal issues or maybe only one nut...:D I didn't check. :p

Thanks NY/AL, mobow and bowanaj. I appreciate it.

Mudshark, Happy Anniversary and thank you.

Pat, mostly likely the cause but we'll never know.

    Jim_IV, isaiah, thanks guys.

Shed, interesting that you took a cow elk that way. Shot off? Predator? Hey and thanks.

Brandon, what can I say, unique'ness follows me. :D

    B_S. wuoldn't be the first time I've heard that. :D :D

Congrats again Rob. I still can't believe how you always find the funky deer.

Congrats. Nice size for a year and a half. Maybe i missed it in the story but was the deer shot in the spine as well? In the second picture a leaf is covering it.
